  1. 256SCAN allows any 256 gray-scale scanner to produce a full-color Windows
  2. compatible .BMP file.  This file may then be converted, dithered, or even 
  3. have the number of colors reduced by using such programs as
  4. Graphics Workshop.

  6. This program is not freeware.  It is shareware.  Registration is $20.00.
  7. Use ORDER.FRM to register.  Please register this (and all other shareware
  8. you use) with the appropriate authors.  There are no guilt screens or
  9. reminders to register.  Use it in good health and in good karma.
